Marvel Super Hero Squad: Comic Combat
Third Marvel Super Hero Squad game using the uDraw GameTablet.
Marvel Super Hero Squad: Comic Combat, the third title in the Marvel Super Hero Squad series, was built around the uDraw GameTablet. Griptonite Games handled development, while THQ published it. Released on November 15, 2011, for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii, this game follows Marvel Super Hero Squad and Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet.
The story pits Doctor Doom and his minions against the heroes as they scheme to break into the real world, steal the Tablet, and seize control of the comic book universe. Characters like Thor and Iron Man, drawn from Marvel comics, are central to the plot.
Gameplay relies on the uDraw GameTablet, where players use a stylus to draw attacks, weapons, and barricades. Ten playable "Squaddies" are available, including Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Wolverine, Falcon, Scarlet Witch, Reptil, Captain America, Invisible Woman, and Squirrel Girl. Players solve tablet-based puzzles to defeat Doctor Doom, facing villains such as MODOK, Abomination, and Red Skull. Levels take place in the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, Baxter Building, the Vault, and Sanctum Sanctorum. Shaking the tablet triggers an in-game earthquake. The game offers six comic-book-style stages, and players earn "hero points" to upgrade their characters.

Reader's Guide
The game is designed to be played with the uDraw GameTablet, which helps players with attacks, weapons, and barricades. Players use the stylus pen to draw their own attacks to stop Doctor Doom and his cohorts. Featured locations include the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, the Baxter Building, the Vault, and the Sanctum Sanctorum. Shaking the uDraw GameTablet causes a massive in-game earthquake. The game includes six comic book-designed stages, and players can earn 'hero points' to upgrade characters. As the third entry in the franchise, it represents a unique integration of a drawing peripheral into a superhero action game, though its reliance on the uDraw tablet limited its audience. Its legacy lies in being a niche experiment in motion-controlled comic-book gaming.
